Father,

Give to all your people the grace to speak and act as your Son commanded: to love God with all our hearts and minds and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Keep us free from envy and intolerance. Move us to share with others what we have, and help others in difficulty or need. May our families, which are at the heart of our lives, learn together that the way of Christ is the right way, recognising that all people have gifts and that all can share in the building of your kingdom.
