Father,

We believe that your Son, who died on the cross, was raised to eternal life. Grant that your servant, N., who has gone to rest in Christ, may share in the joy of his resurrection. Give comfort to those of us who remain, in the memory of one whom we loved, and bring us all to a new life in your heavenly kingdom.
